Domain names, also known as “Website addresse“, are used to replace server IP addresses to help users remember them more easily. Domain names are divided into 02 parts:

If the domain name you are planning to register is already owned by someone,  you will not be able to register and must choose another. Therefore, whoever registers the domain name that is allocated first will have more advantages.

The minimum domain name registration period is 01 year. The renewal period is from 0-70 days from the expiration date depending on the domain name. When the domain expires, the DNS will be temporarily locked and will be returned to the default website specified by the domain name provider.

ICANN stands for Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, was established on September 18, 1998 and officially became an organization that oversees Internet-related tasks, operating under the name of the US government on September 30, 1998.
This organization is responsible for managing the Internet infrastructure such as:

• Managing the domain name system data on the Internet.
• Managing, distributing and authorizing the allocation of IP addresses for each specific area.
• Proposing reasonable policies for the development and internationalization of the Top-level Domain.
